It also allows users to create objects such as forms, charts, and even control panels by inserting interactive functions into individual table cells. With quick and easy controls for adding new rows and columns, the user never has to worry about creating a perfect table before the content is added. Microsoft Word also includes options for converting tables into text and vice versa. Likewise, formulas and AutoFit functions allow tables to be highly efficient and interactive. Users should also keep in mind that tables can be used to hold pictures, videos, presentations, spreadsheets, and a wide variety of other objects from other Microsoft Office programs.

The hyperlink option in Microsoft Word allows users to insert links from a wide variety of sources. These include webpages, FTP channels, Telnet ports, email messages, news articles, specific documents, and even new documents that the user can create on the spot.
