Yahoo Mail is a browser-based email client that Yahoo sponsors, which allows users to access their email, compose new messages, and organize messages into various categories such as “Inbox,” “Trash,” and “Spam.” Likewise, Yahoo Mail users are able to label messages, depending on who they are from and their content. Although many Yahoo Mail users have switched to other email clients over recent years, Yahoo Mail is still considered one of the most widely used browser-based email clients available.

What is an iPhone?

An iPhone, which Apple created and distributes, is a mobile smartphone that allows users to make phone calls, browse the web, and run a variety of applications that are not found on other smartphones. Although the mobile telephone market is now flooded with smartphones, iPhones were one of the first smartphone devices available to the general population.

How to Sync Yahoo Contacts with an iPhone

Since the iPhone is capable of running applications and accessing the Internet, it can be synchronized with Yahoo Mail contacts in order for users to call, text, and email their Yahoo friends directly from their iPhone. In order to do this, users should:

1) Tap “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” on the iPhone, tap “Add Account,” tap “Other,” and tap “Add CardDAV Account.”

2) Enter “yahoo.com” as the server, type in the username and password, and click “Save.”

The user can now access his/her Contacts list and see a list of contacts that were synchronized from Yahoo.
