Sending email is a straight forward process, but does have some requirements. To begin with, you need to have an email address. Two of the best email clients are either Gmail or Yahoo Mail. Once you have signed up with an email account, it is easy to send an email. The first thing you’ll need is the recipient’s email address. The address will be something@emailclient.com. For example, it might be abcdefghijk@gmail.com. If that is the recipient’s email address, plug that in the “To” section of the email draft.

Below that, there is a Cc and a Bcc. These are carbon copies and blind carbon copies. It means that an exact copy will be sent to the Cc recipients and the recipient of the email will know that. However, the Bcc is an email that is sent to a recipient, but a carbon copy is sent to someone else with that person knowing. The recipient doesn’t know that the email has been copied to others.

Below that is the subject. These aren’t necessary to send an email, but if you are one who receives many email, a subject makes it easier to categorize them. Depending on the email client, below the subject will be the “Attach a File” component. This allows you to send a file through email. However, most email clients do have a size limit for attached files, so for especially large documents, it is not advantageous to try and send files.

Finally, below this feature is the body of the email. Compose the email here. Most email clients don’t have a character limit when sending email. Depending on the email client, some have the ability to handle HTML. Most modern day email clients have added features such as different font formats as well as the ability to spell check. This has made it even easier to compose email.

When the email is done, hit the send button and the email will be sent. So long as the email address was put in correctly, it will be sent in an instant and the person will have the ability to reply when they choose.
