To promote a better experience on different websites, owners of these websites use JavaScript. However, there are instances where JavaScript gets disabled and some of the different components on the site can't be experienced because of this. Enabling JavaScript is different for each web browser, but all of it takes about a minute to complete. Once you're done, simply restart the browser and JavaScript will be enabled.

Enabling JavaScript on Internet Explorer

To enable JavaScript on Internet Explorer, go to the top and click tools. Then click Internet Options. For anything that has to do with the Internet, typically, this is where you'll find the answer. Scroll down to the scripting section and then click enable. This will enable active scripting and scripting of Java applets. Once you are done with this, click OK and then yes if a box appears asking for confirmation. Hit OK and then close the box down. Either refresh Internet Explorer or close it down and then open it up once again. The JavaScript will be enabled and can then be used on the site.

Enabling JavaScript on FireFox

FireFox is even more straight forward tha internet Explorer. Click the Tools button and then scroll down to Options. Once that opens, click the content button. You'll be able to see a section where you can check things off such as Block Pop Up Windows and Load Images Automatically. You're looking for the third box.

Click the Enable JavaScript button. Click the advanced JavaScript options button. This will show you the advanced JavaScript options box that you can then check. Pick which scripts you are approving of and then click OK. Click OK on the options and then hit refresh. If you hit everything, JavaScript will be enabled and you'll be able to visit sites with JavaScript on FireFox.
