The Wii, which Nintendo produced and distributed, is the latest console that Nintendo released. It allows users to play games via wireless motion detection. While Wiis have only been available for several years, they have quickly matched similar products such as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in total sales. The Wii uses a wireless remote that has a built-in accelerometer that is able to detect the user’s movements and display the appropriate changes on the screen. While Wii was first released as an electronic sports console, with games like golf, tennis, and boxing, it has now become available for many popular games such as Call of Duty, Legend of Zelda, and Mario Bros.

How to Sync a Wii Remote

While all remotes that come with a Wii are already synchronized with the console, users may need to manually synchronize new and original remotes that have been reset or damaged. To do this, users should:

1) Remove the SD card slot cover from the front of the Wii console.

2) Remove the battery cover from the back of the Wii remote.

3) Under both the SD card slot and battery covers, there is a red button that can be used to synchronize the remote with the console. In order to do so, press both of these buttons in and release them simultaneously.

When the LED on the remote stops blinking, the remote will be synchronized with the console.
