The iPod Nano is one of Apple's many different music players. It was targeted to be a smaller, more portable iPod in comparison to the much bulkier iPod classic. Because of this, it does hold less music than the iPod Classic. There are two models of the iPod Nano. The first is the 8GB iPod Nano which is the smaller of the two. The 8GB can hold up to 2,000 songs so long as it is in 128-Kbps AAC format. In other words, the device is able to provide around 100 hours of music and sometimes, even more.

The second model is the 16GB iPod Nano which is the larger of the two. The 16GB can hold up to 4,000 songs played in the 128-Kbps AAC format. It can hold 14,000 pictures and play up to 16 hours of video.
